David is originally from Northern Ireland and did not come from a Christian family. Growing up he played a lot of sports and enjoyed travelling. He likes nothing better than having a laugh and joke with friends.
He came to Liverpool to study. He loved the city and people so much that he stayed. It was in Liverpool that he came to know the forgiveness and new life that Jesus offers, freeing him from his alcohol addiction.
David works part-time for the Church. Each week he meets up with people to help them see how knowing God provides a way out of addiction and provides pastoral and practical care for those struggling with substance misuse. David also leads a weekly addictions group called Crossroads.
